Bible Studies & Small Groups

We offer both men’s and women’s bible studies & small groups. These are opportunities to enter more deeply into the Word of God while growing together as a community. Our bible studies and small groups aim to align with the mission of our ministry: to invite the UMBC community into friendship with Jesus, form disciples in the Catholic faith, and inspire them to be disciple-makers.

Wild at Heart by John Eldredge is a Christian book about masculinity and the deep desires of a man’s soul. Eldredge argues that men are created with a longing for adventure, a battle to fight, and a beauty to pursue, and that modern culture often suppresses these God-given desires. The book encourages men to embrace their wild, adventurous spirit in order to live fully and authentically as God intended.
